Young Entrepreneurs Program
Ages 10 - 18
Encouraging the next generation of small business owners.
Monthly Kids Booths at Market
This twice-monthly program offers opportunities for kids ages 10 to 18 to sell their hand-crafted and homegrown items at market. They’ll learn important lessons about the value of money, budgeting, professional communication, advertising, and more!
Parent Supervisors Wanted!
We are looking for parents who are interested in volunteering to supervise our Young Entrepreneur participants on market days. You’ll be in charge of checking kids in and out for the day and making sure everyone stays safe. Send us an email to get involved!
Lessons from Local Business People
Every two weeks one of our adult vendors or a local business professional will give a short 10-15 minute presentation to our Young Entrepreneurs before market opens for the day. Topics will range from budgeting to advertising, communication skills, and pricing. If you’re interested in becoming a mentor please send us an email!
Let’s Get Creative!
Young Entrepreneurs are welcome to sell all sorts of handmade and homegrown items. Kids can sell fruits and vegetables from the garden, jewelry, artwork, knitted/crocheted crafts, soaps, lotions, and more. At this time we cannot allow sales of any items that require special permitting such as meat, eggs, processed foods, baked goods, etc. unless those permits are attained.
